Following the recipes on Twinkl (see links in planning notes) we made some bread fit for a royal banquet and bread for the peasants who wouldn’t have been invited. The latter resembled concrete more than bread but it tasted sort of OK when dipped in tasty soup. As you can see from the picture below, Agatha was still not a fan though!
Thankfully the medieval honey shortbread we had as pudding tasted a lot better and multiple slices were eaten by everyone.
