We all went on the train to MathsCity in Leeds this week. MathsCity was a brilliant experience because there was a lot to see and do. We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves which was great because we could do whatever activities we fancied. There were many things to do and many of them were very tricky so needed a lot of concentration. I wish I could have stayed longer but we did stay for an hour and a half. I loved every second of it.
Note by Mum: Mathscity is a hands-on Maths discovery centre in the heart of Leeds in a shopping centre (just over the road from the train station). There are various activities to do which all explore maths problems and theorems. There are loads of follow-up resources on their website too. It doesn’t look much from the entrance, but we happily spent 1.5hrs there and could have stayed longer if we hadn’t have needed feeding!
