The most important topic when the Wints do history is food! The main crop for the Mayans was corn so we made some tortillas with homemade chilli and guacamole followed by hot chocolate with cinnamon, again using recipes from Twinkl (and all whilst wearing their PJs!). The tortillas tasted nicer than they looked! We would have loved to have finished this topic with a visit to Cadbury World to learn more about chocolate (and eat some too) but Covid has delayed that for some time…
