National Space Centre Home Ed Day

To kick start our learning in 2022, we went with another family down to the Space Centre in Leicester for a home educators’ day. There were three sessions for each family to attend: a session in the planetarium, a talk and then a hands-on workshop. The theme was looking after the Earth in a more sustainable way. I won’t pretend we weren’t disappointed that it wasn’t more space orientated but we did really enjoy our day. The kids had plenty of time to explore the exhibits and see what else the centre had to offer.
