Psychology wasn’t on our radar at all until I saw a post on social media about some psychology online courses for home educators. Roll forward two years, Aggie has now done a GCSE in it and wants to do it for A level!

The psychology KS3 courses that started all of this off are run by online tutor Charlotte of Survive Succeed Achieve. She does regular Psych 101 courses which run weekly for four or six weeks and each course addresses one particular aspect of psychology. We did courses on neuropsychology and forensics and it was clear early on that Aggie really liked both the subject and Charlotte! Aggie decided she’d like to take psychology further and do the GCSE. It was therefore a no-brainer that we’d use the pre-recorded course created by Charlotte to work towards OCR Psychology GCSE. So, Aggie started the course in August 2023 and sat it in June 2024. We await her results…..
