This was Peggy’s rather delayed birthday treat (thank you Covid). We did a fossil hunting trip with Byron from Natural Wonders in Whitby. He gave us loads of tips on how to find fossils and his knowledge was incredible. It was amazing to see actual dinosaur footprints in the rocks and to hold a fossil in our hand.
We came home with a good number of fossils which are now on display in our garden. We definitely recommend this trip! We stayed the night before in a hotel next to the Tees Barrage which unintentionally also turned out to be very interesting!
