We had a look at the Pointilism movement and the work of Georges Seurat. We used a fact file from Twinkl which started us off on this topic . We then had a go at doing our own Pointilism-inspired artwork using some guidance from Twinkl. It turns out Daddy is quite the Pointilist!

Yorkshire Sculpture Park Visit

We had a great afternoon at YSP. We’ve been coming here since the girls were in pushchairs and it’s always an enjoyable day out. We particularly enjoyed seeing the Damien Hirst sculptures; they certainly generated lots of discussions. The girls came home itching to get drawing in their sketch books.
