Fake wounds with a professional

We get to meet so many different people in the home ed community and I’m getting much better now at asking them if they’ll share any skills they have with us. We met Reagan and her children through our local home ed Facebook group and then at our forest school.

Reagan is an amazing makeup artist who is skilled in anything from stage make up, to wedding looks, to fake wounds. And it’s this last skill that Aggie has become really quite obsessed with so we called in the professionals to help her get better. Just look at these wounds made using latex, fake blood and eyeshadow – they make my stomach turn!

Thank you so much Reagan (you can find her at Reagan Leigh Beauty). The girls had a great time and proudly scared Daddy with their “injuries” when they got home.

Brownie crafts

Peggy has had several more online Brownie meetings. They had a visitor to teach them how to do fingerprint art and then the next week they hand-sewed Easter bunnies. Thank you Chestnut Owl for such a great term and for all you do for Brownies.
