Weekly PE sessions

Published

We went for a trial at 5 Sport based in Huddersfield who have started up a new weekly home-ed PE session on a Monday afternoon. We’re now signed up for going every week!

They have two hours in which they have taught sessions on two sports and then free time to play in the games room or with any of the sports equipment. So far in three weeks they’ve covered lacrosse, hockey, badminton, dodgeball and cricket, and played Just Dance and table tennis in the games room. Coaches Emily and Beth are superb with the kids and they make everything fun, even when the kids don’t win. I just love the fact that they’re getting a go at so many team sports without us having to commit to clubs. We really can’t recommend these sessions enough. Do come and join in if you’re local!

Thor’s Cave with walking guide

We love the outdoors and regularly go walking but it's always to the same places that we already know. It was time to get more adventurous (and more organised!).
